Vurb was founded in 2011 by Bobby Lo and was the winner of TechCrunch Disrupt NY 2014. Their mission was to create a smarter, more connected mobile world that empowered people to do more of what they want all in one app. It enabled people to find, plan, and do by connecting them to the most relevant information and tools from apps and services in a single mobile experience. It was acquired by Snapchat in 2016.
